MINT: Pop Up Hall

Hall 13, Prague market, Bubenske nabrezi 306/13

MINT: Pop Up Hall 13 is new exciting project. It will start in the end of September and will occur every Friday and Saturday. In The Prague Market (Pražská tržnice in Holešovice) we started to create periodical markets. It includes local food & delicatesen, independent fashion labels, design, bio cosmetics and books.

Free entry, weelchair accisiable, happy people and pets are welcome.

The project is inspired by London Camden Town and Bangkok weekend markets, therefore there is creative atmosphere, music production as well as little bit of punk feeling.

We want both Praguers and tourists to have alternative to the big shopping centers and we want to make Czech design more available. The venue is an historical market, which we refresh with new energy, products and atmosphere.. You can now shop for local fashion, design and products every Friday and Saturday or can just come to hang out and chill.

Follow us on our Facebook page and Facebook event.

What is MINT. We have ten years experience organising big markets such as 19th editions of the Prague Fashion Market or Factory Fashion Market which happened for the 24th time this year in Brno. Moreover we participate on coordinating such a big events as Zažít město jinak, Ziva Ulice, Prague Pride, and Rock for Churchill.

On foot

If you walk to the gates of the Prague market area by the Vltava river, go in the area immediately to the right and left at the end and you will see a big sign with the number 13! Or you can take way from the other side of the street Komunardů, you must enter to the area and on the left you will see a Alza and ahead Mountfield. Keep this way around 200m and on your left you will see our lucky number 13th.

By boat

You want to experience this romance! Take the ferry from Karlin to Holešovice. Check out the ferry schedule.

By public transport

You can get closer to the metro stop Vltavská and then just one tram stop and get out as soon as you hear "Pražská tržnice". Another option is to come to the area "behind", ie to stop Tusarova. Then go to the instructions for the journey on foot from Komunardů to lobby on the 13th.

By taxi

You can just say "Hall 13, Prague market (Pražská or Holešovická tržnice)" to your taxi driver.

By car

Leave your car at home. And if you really want to arrive by car, you can park in the area first hour for free, but it will certainly not be enough for shopping ☺ Each additional hour is 40 CZK.

Lenka does not like to be called a manager, so she decided to become the principal. It is quite true that MINT is more like a colourful circus than a big corporate company. Before taking over the organisation of the markets, she studied curatorship with a focus on design, founded ÝBRKÝBL: Fashion bazaar and ate a zucchini for the first time.

Banán always looks forward to the ‘boredom’ that kicks in about two hours after an even starts, when everything has been prepared, and things are running smoothly. In those moments, he can be seen strolling through the markets, enjoying the atmosphere, and talking with his friends selling their products and trying to figure out what else they could do together. But sometimes even he hides in the backstage and simply spends his time reading or sleeping.
