After long discussions and consultations also with the hygiene department we have decided, unfortunately, to cancel our street festival this year.
The only instruction from the hygienic station is that outdoor events can have up to 1000 people, as you all know our event attracts more people. And the only way to do it would be to divide it into fenced sectors with a lot of security, which we believe is out of character for the event.
With COVID-19 on the rise at the moment and taking into account our neighbors and the whole neighborhood, whom we do the event with and for, we will not put at risk our local residence and businesses. Although we have put already a lot of energy into putting the event together, we believe we will make Americka Great Again next year.

Throughout all the street in collaboration with local shops, restaurants and bars we preparing for you Latin, Balkan and Mediterranean area, children activities and theater, 4 music stages, Wine zone, workshop area, MINT Market with fashion and design, American BBQ, Radio 1 stage, live bands and a lot of street food, ...

Lenka Šašková
Lenka does not like to be called a manager, so she decided to become the principal. It is quite true that MINT is more like a colourful circus than a big corporate company. Before taking over the organisation of the markets, she studied curatorship with a focus on design, founded ÝBRKÝBL: Fashion bazaar and ate a zucchini for the first time.
Omri Goz
Omri is involved in the majority of all exciting events and cultural projects that happen in Prague and the whole Czech Republic both ‘over and underground’, and that is why we have him on our team.
