ASTARTE Jewels are unique handmade precious jewels designed by Prague based British designer Sam de Bendern, and inspired by ASTARTE, the Phoenician goddess of the Sun and the Moon. All Sam’s jewels symbolize the meeting of lightness and darkness within us, the joining of our sun and our moon.  Astarte's flagship collection is the East West Zodiac Collection in which the Zodiac animals of the Chinese Lunar Calendar meet the Birthstones of the Western Solar Zodiac - in which each wearer can have a unique jewel in which a Western Zodiac birthstone is fixed to his or her Chinese Zodiac animal. Other jewels use gemstones in settings that show the sun and the moon, and mix black silver and yellow gold.
